General:
Sex v.s. Gender
- Sex - What you’re assigned at birth based off genitalia
- Gender - What you identify as
Excluding or ignoring queer people, setting straight cis people as "the standard"
Homophobia/Transphobia
- Hating queer people
- Hating transgender people
The label or name you give yourself to explain how you feel.
Sexuality
Who you feel attracted to
Gender-Expression
The ways in which we express masculinity and or femininity. People can represent this in clothing style, hair, nails, makeup, etc.
Umbrella term
A term that can cover many sexualities or genders. Ex, queer, non binary.
Queer
An umbrella term for anyone in the LGBTQ+ community.
Questioning
Questioning your sexual orientation or identity, or not having a name for it.
Cis
Identifying with your assigned at birth sex
Transgender
Identifying with a different gender than the gender assigned at birth.
Intersex
A person who's biological body does not match the typical 'female' or 'male'
Ally
A non queer person who supports the LGBTQ+ community.
Closeted
Not having told anyone or some people you are queer
Coming out
Telling people you are queer

Lesbian
Identifying as women being attracted to women
Gay
Umbrella term, but specifically defined as men attracted to men
Romantic
Feeling attraction to a person that is not sexual

Pansexual/Panromantic
Attraction to all genders

Little/No Sexual or romantic attraction to any genders

Attraction to, and having a relationship with multiple people
Demisexual/Demiromantic

Partially identifying with a gender, with the other part being something else.

Having a gender that's fluid, fluctuating, or a combination of genders.

Identifying with 3 genders.
Bigender
Identifying with two genders.
Polygender
Identifying with multiple genders.
Agender
Not identifying with a gender.
